Supervision is that regular and relational professional space where you, the human practitioner, reflect on being the trained person in the room holding space for your clients. Your humanity is central as professional you is offered a safe place to reflect on your practice with openness, honesty and trust. We are not perfect, we absolutely are impacted by what we see and hear, the world doesn't stop throwing challenges at us either and we hold heavy loads in large packs. I am a supervisor who bases their work on the Skilled Helper and feminist theories of supervision and I use the queer 7 eyed model for ensuring an inclusive practice. I am a pluralistic therapist and supervisor with my approach always trauma informed and compassionate curiosity driven. I hold an especially safe space for therapists who experienced trauma from their training models, modalities or institutions. I am interested in research around the intersection of therapy training trauma and how supervision is accessed with a separate focus on ND practitioners.
If you work with individuals, relationships and families, CYP, the queer community, neurodivergent community and are a counsellor, coach, social worker, teacher or support worker seeking supervision for your practice and well-being then please get it touch via my contact page.
Please know that I do not work with student counsellors.
